OPNsense 20.7.5 released This is a small patch set and plan to pin the 20.1 upgrade path to this particular version to avoid unnecessary stepping stones.
MidnightBSD 2.0.1 for amd64: Updated ISOs for MidnightBSD 2 have been released on amd64. There are two changes: 1. UEFI support for booting the ISO as well as installing with ZFS root on GPT 2. mkimg was updated to facilitate 1. Aside from these changes, the release is identical to 2.0 for i386.

LibreSSL 3.3.0 Released: This is the first development release from the 3.3.x series, which will eventually be part of OpenBSD 6.9. Follow the link for list of all changes.
ArisbluBSD: Why a new BSD?: This article is to explain some decisions and plans made by the ArisbluBSD team, why they are making their own thing, and what the plan is for the OS. They talk about five things: desktop, package management, software availability, custom software, and the future of the OS. They also explain what the goal of the OS is, and how they plan to expand in the near future.
The Birth of Unix with Brian Kernighan: In the late 1960s and 1970s, that somewhere was Bell Labs, and the operating system they were building was UNIX. They were building more than just an operating system though. They were building a way to work with computers that had never existed before. In this podcast episode they talk to Brian Kernighan about the history of Unix.
